Dr. Orobitg’s Unique Story
Dr. Eddie Orobitg grew up in Colorado and moved to Florida in 1987. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida in 1992, and his DMD from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Orobitg then received his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Certificate from the US Navy in 1997, and served for three years as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, including one year in Jacksonville, Florida and two years at the US Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia. He came to Leesburg as a private practice owner in 1999 after his time in the US Navy providing general, cosmetic and implant dentistry services.
His post-graduate education includes training at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) – the largest international academic organization for professionals in implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration — numerous implant and soft-tissue seminars, and membership in the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Orobitg also belongs to CDOCS, the digital dentistry CAD/CAM training Institute and utilizes advanced technology to facilitate the most predictable treatment outcomes possible, efficiently and comfortably.
His passion for learning new dental technology has led him to provide same-day Cerec crowns, bridges, guided implant surgeries, endodontics, smile designs, and SureSmile orthodontic aligners. Dr. Orobitg has also completed multiple courses from Aesthetic Interface on neuromodulators including BOTOX®, Dysport®, and dermal fillers including Juvéderm and Restylane. He has a passion to bridge the gap between dental and facial aesthetics.
Dr. Orobitg is a member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Team for Implantology, the American Orthodontic Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and CDOCS CAD/Cam Spear Company.
