Anesthesia/Comfort Options
Many people experience anxiety about going to see the dentist, and we know that past experiences shape how each of us responds to dental procedures performed by Dr. Orobitg. We encourage you to share your fears with us, and to discuss any treatment fears you may have. We are prepared to help you relax and be comfortable.
When there are multiple treatment options, we can help you decide what is best for you.
Rather than using “gas” or “sedation”, we will help you work through your fears or concerns by explaining what you can expect during your visits, using reassuring words, warm blankets, encouraging you to kick off your shoes – whatever makes you more comfortable. We will even provide you with music or a choice of TV programs to view.
Local anesthetic is used traditionally or by Stabident (a procedure which only numbs the tooth being worked on instead of also numbing the lips and tongue.)
Our goal is your good oral health and safety, and making your experience with us as comfortable as possible.
